Ambient air is always containing water vapor ; the percentage of water
depends of the external meteorological conditions. This external relative humidity value
will decrease when air is heated inside buildings. An amount of water must be added if one
wants to avoid unexplained and undesired production problems in factories.
This supply of water can be done by steam
injection but energy consumption is important ; by evaporation but bacteria
formation is possible due to water stagnation ; or by pneumatic sprayers using water and
compressed air.
This last solution is an economical and efficient
humidification system which gives a lot of advantages : easy installation, low running
costs, low maintenance features, self cleaning nozzles, suppression of bacteria pollution.
The energy necessary for the evaporation of the fine sprays of moisture is taken out from
the ambient air and produces an adiabatic cooling.
The complete package consists of : an appropriate
number of Classic or Sonic atomizing nozzles with accessories, an hydropneumatic control
panel, a microprocessor regulator for hygrometry and temperature control.
